Custom Fry Paper: Grease Stays In. Crispiness Stays In. Your Brand Goes Out With Every Order.

Fried food presentation lives or dies at the handoff. The moment a customer picks up their basket of fries, reaches into the bag, or opens their takeaway box, the wrapper is the first thing they touch. If it's soaked through and unbranded, it tells them something. Custom Fry Paper from Print On Papers tells them something better: that the food was handled right, and that your brand is worth remembering.

PFAS-Free, FDA-Compliant Fry Paper Printed to Your Brand Standard

Custom fry paper is a grease-resistant, heat-retaining food wrap specifically engineered for high-oil, high-temperature food applications, such as French fries, fried chicken, fish and chips, onion rings, burgers, and similar fried items that would saturate standard paper within minutes.Every sheet of Print On Papers print is PFAS-free. Earlier generations of fry paper relied on fluorochemical coatings to achieve grease resistance; those PFAS chemicals are now being phased out under US and EU regulations. Our fry paper uses fluorine-free, plant-based barrier coatings that achieve KIT Level 6 grease resistance or higher, FDA-compliant under 21 CFR standards for direct food contact, and FSC-certified from sustainably sourced kraft base materials.Soy-based or water-based food-safe inks carry your brand design on every sheet full-color CMYK or Pantone-matched precision across every print run.Three Coating Options: Each Built for a Different Application
  1. PE (polyethylene) coating delivers the strongest moisture and grease barrier for standard fry applications. Creates a continuous barrier against oil penetration, keeps food crisp by preventing excess moisture transfer, and is both microwave and air fryer safe up to 425°F (218°C). The most widely used coating across QSRs and food truck operations.
  2. Silicone coating adds non-stick performance on top of heat-resistant food that releases cleanly from the sheet with no tearing or sticking. The highest-performing option for very oily applications and situations where easy food removal matters as much as grease containment.
  3. Wax coating (paraffin or soy-based) provides moisture and grease resistance for lighter fry applications, such as onion rings, lighter snacks, and operations where microwave reheating is less of a requirement. Soy-based wax is biodegradable and compostable, the right choice for brands building a sustainability story.
All three coatings retain food heat for up to 30 minutes, keeping fries, chicken, and fried items at serving temperature through counter handoff, takeaway transit, and delivery.
